Pearl Jam were playing at Madison Square Garden so Paul and I went to see them play. Before the concert Paul and I went to the Houndstooth pub and talked to a few people we knew who he’d met at Pearl Jam concerts in Australia and Los Angeles.

While waiting for Pearl Jam to come on I got a foot long hot dog and a diet coke.  The hot dog was delicious.  When we were getting our food and drinks they came on and started to play their first song.  So we got the food and ran to our seats, we missed most of the first song though, Corduroy.  At the concert Pearl jam played 34 songs over three hours.  During some songs everybody was jumping up and down and you could feel the stadium rocking  around, it felt like an earth quake pretty much.

You can see my videos from Pearl Jam at Madison Square Garden - Click Here.

Pearl Jam played at least half a dozen rare songs at MSG like Sweet Lew, Black Red Yellow and Rats .  They played really loud and it was louder because it was indoors.  On   the first break I went to the toilet and my ears felt like when your ears get blocked a plane.  We met a few Australians at the concert  in line getting their food and sitting next to Paul and I.  Some American people came up behind us so they could see better.  There was a guy that was behind me and said to forget about sport and play and play guitar.

They played most of my favourite songs at the start of the concert like The Fixer, Do the Evolution and World Wide Suicide.   At the last concert I was at I was up front , but here I on an angle up on the second section, now I could see how many people there were.  There was heaps and heaps, the stadium held about 20 000 people.

When it went dark you could see glow in the dark drumsticks that Matt Cameron was using, it looked like fire flies flying around everywhere.  Then later Ben from band of horses came and sung Hunger Strike with Eddie Vedder.

It was the best place to go for a concert ever.  Then that was the end of the concert so Paul and I went and got some ice cream in Times Square.
