My day in Universal Studios. My mum, sister, Paul and I went to Universal Studios on Mother’s day. Universal Studios is where most directors make movies; e.g Jaws, Fast and the Furious, Back to the Future and many more. There are lots of rides there also, here are some awesome rides I went on.
This one isn’t a ride but it was scary The House of Horrors! It was real people dressed-up as monsters, Were wolfs, Chucky doll and Jason. I crapped myself the first time, it was so scary it had exit doors. People popping out when the lights flash you jump, it is funny at the same time when you get scared.
There was the Jurassic park ride which was one that you get a little wet on it. It was cruisy all the way until the end, the end was crazy a gigantic steep drop from top to bottom. This was one of the parts when you get wet, the carts go full speed and flies down the slope and splashes in the water. It was boring at the start of the ride but great at the end part.
Then I went on the Simpsons ride which is a rollercoaster simulator. It was awesome, the Simpsons had to get you away from Side Show Bob. At one point Maggie was really big and picked you up and thought you were a dummy so marg said “that’s not a dummy Maggie!” So she spat you out and something sprayed you with water and it felt like spit. At the ride there were some photos of you so my mum and I went to check them out. Mum looked scared in the photo but i was smiling whilst sitting there.
After the Simpsons ride we went to the 4-D Shrek movie it was amazing how the image on the screen came out of it. Water sprayed at you when Donkey spat, the seats rumbled around when Shrek and donkey chased after a guy on a horse. It was awesome how it did all this stuff, 4-D is the best ever if you see a 4-D movie you know what I mean.
Then there was the revenge of the mummy ride which was a high speed rollercoaster that cruises at the start for about a quarter of the way but then when the mummy drops from the wall you fly through on turns and everything. Your cheeks fly back, like it’s at the back of your skull and your pinned at the back of your seat. Then it stopped and then went backwards at the same speed then it finally got to the end and my hair was everywhere.
Then we went on the studio tour which is where you go on a mini bus with little doors and no windows so you can see where they make the movies. You could see a set of War of the Worlds where the plane crashes, and it is a real plane. You could see a set of 2Fast 2Furious where the cars get blown up but they didn’t really blow up they had a giant robot arm that held the car and flipped it; so it was edited out of the movie so it looked real. Then it drove past the real cars that the directors used in the movies. Then we went past the psycho house. There was a body there that this guy put in the boot of his car then he looked at the bus and pulled a knife out and chased it and swung at it and deliberately missed. Then the was Jaws were there was a fake person in the water and a fake shark came at him and ate him then fire went up and everything because sharks hate fire so that happened. There were lots and lots of different movies made there.
Universal Studios is a great place to go to. You’ll have heaps of fun there if you ever go.
